On the positive side, they came up with a good quote and could install quickly. On the negative side, we still haven't had any certification 2 months on, the inverter they fitted was a lower spec than the one quoted for, they blew up the central heating controls while working on the electrics, dented the fridge with the electrician's ladder, didn't do a proper survey (so the number of panels ordered wouldn't fit on the roof - that bit was resolved adequately though). Resist all pressure to pay in full before you're completely happy and you'll probably do OK. It's a shame they treat the people who trust them and pay up quickly so badly.

Good price, quality work, and system works well. Installed in good time from order despite unavoidable delays with getting panels and batteries through Customs. Installers prepared and willing to work long hours in order to complete the work - the benefit is that they are Light Renewables staff, not subcontractors, and the Owner is closely involved with and takes personal responsibility for each installation.

Once paid there is no reply to email and answer on phone calls . Paperwork for instalation not received not able to register with SEG for 5 weeks now . System also stopped completely to work first the storage stopped working now the display on the Inverter stopped working , no solution . A shame as the installation Team was top and did a good Job but the Office let's it down completeley .

Although panels were installed promptly, and as far as I can tell , correctly or securely, the ‘back office’ support in terms of paper work / registration with DNO to enable going onto SMEG scheme has been abysmal. Am still waiting for DNO acceptance letter more than 2 months after panel installation. Light Renewables sent DNO application [G98] to wrong email address and with incomplete information. If I had not personally followed this up despite much complexity understanding who to contact and being persistent, nothing would have happened at all.

The work was well done and I was very pleased with this aspect. However, what I did not anticipate was that because I paid cash I get no paperwork (installer said it would be emailed) so have no proof of purchase for the product that was installed and cannot get it guaranteed. From this point of view I am disappointed.
