About Central Scotland Electrical Ltd
Central Scotland Electrical has been on the go since 2016 and has been a member of Napit since this time. We hold Competent Person Scheme and MCS status for electrical and Solar PV systems installations.
This means when we install a solar system we guarantee the workmanship with an insurance backed guarantee for a recommended period of time. This also ensures the product warranties can be claimed in the event they go faulty within the period of warranty cover. If you go outside these parameters you will not be covered.
We are also part of the RECC consumer code which gives our customers rights to complain if they are not satisfied the product has been installed incorrectly or if they have been mis-sold by one of our representatives.
Lastly we would like to tell you we have between 300 and 400 reviews on Google, Mybuilder and Yell for installation works we have carried out. We have an average rating of around 4.9 stars out of 5 which isnt perfect however it shows we are real and not everyone has been completely satisfied. We look at ourselves as a high end company and like to keep the bar high.
As well as our workmanship being high end our products are of equal quality and our aim is to provide a fully compliant installation with an after service to match. Our staff are highly motivated and inhouse so we use only our own so therefore don't sub-contract our work to others.

New Solar PV Installation in Hamilton
First contact was with Murray there coordinating manager. He came to my home and did a visual check of the suitability for solar. with a walk round and an initial price quote. New his stuff as I asked a lot of questions that were concerning me. Things like install times, disruption to buildings and garden. five days later, on appointment by me, Ian Beattie company owner and overseer of all work, came and did a full site suitability. we agreed on a start date and then things got going. It was a two day job. The first day the panel fitters arrived and prep the roof, fitted the panels and cleaned up. The second day Ian and his assistant arrived spent the day installing all the hardware and wiring as we had planned to my satisfaction. The job was totally finished that day. spent time with Ian going over the system usage and initiating the first power production. Ian followed up the next week to check how things were going - all well. system been running excellently since install in November. Generally Ian and his team did an excellent job. Nothing was a bother to them and discussed tweaks to the system in later times, Highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of a solar panel system. P.S. they also fit E.V. charging systems, handy to know for future,

New Solar PV Installation in Kirkliston
Agreed to cancel previous contract with another company and went with them only to find the spec of the panels and batteries were changed at last minute. No-one turned up on the agreed day of install either to carry out required preparatory work.
We Lost all faith in their competence and professionalism. Not a great experience. At least we got our deposit back. One and a half stars for that.

Hi Brian, not surprised, when your wife told me you had already sent back 3 previous deposits from contractors. Your deposit on Monday for installation the following Monday, was received pm on Friday after I chased you up and you still insisted Monday was to the the date of installation. We tried our best to fulfill Monday but couldn't get certain panels to Edinburgh job on time for that day. You insisted to cancel and gave your deposit back immediately. Sorry to have wasted yours and our time.
