SO19 - I am looking to install a small domestic PV system on my property in Sholing, Southampton (SO19 8FS). The area I have in mind for the small system is on my south facing shed roof. The shed roof (4.5m * 3m) is on a 30 degree single pitch and is un-shaded. The shed is single story with good access from the back of the property.
The shed is new and made of solid timber and the roof material is standard roofing felt. I would welcome thoughts on what type of roofing material is best for under the panels.
The shed has room for an invertor and the house is approximately 10m away.
I would be looking to complete the installation by August 2011.
