The current task was not to fit the battery storage system. However, they have just fitted me a new monitoring software device to allow me to interrogate my PV system to see how much I generate, use and buy from the grid. Once I know this, the size of battery I need can be agreed. This monitoring d4vice was fitted on the advice of the EEC surveyor which I feel was a sensible suggestion. The surveyor did not try to rush me to buy a battery storage system right now, but suggested I monitor my usage to ascertain the appropriate size for me: this suggestion was very much appreciated. He will return in a few months to discuss what size I really need. I am happy I was not pressurised into making a decision too quick: thank you EEC. The fitters who fitted my new monitoring software module today were very good: professional, competent, friendly and knowledgeable. They got on with the job and it works brilliantly. Thank you
