Upon doing the survey, it was clear that to maximise the roof space, a non-standard layout was required. We decide the maximum we could fit on there was 15 X 185W panels. I put togtether a quote and after Richard had got some more quotes from other firms, he decide to go with us and signed the contract at the end of May. We planned to start the job in the first week of August ( the lead times on equipment were longer than they are now, thankfully ). Due to some supply issues, we actually started the job on the Friday 8th and I began by doing the work inside the house connecting the inverter, meter and isolators etc. I had arranged for the scaffolders to arrive the following day and they had the structure up by mid morning We fitted the rails that day and the panels on the Sunday. I processed the paperwork the next day in order that Richard could start receiving the Feed in "We were impressed from the start - we thought the design was excellent and made the most of the roof space we had, we were kept informed of whom and when everyone was arriving. The work was carried out over a period of three days (including erecting and removing scaffolding) and was done efficiently. All the tradesmen were courteous and professional and even cleaned up after themselves; nothing was too much bother. The work was carried out to a high standard, which is reflected in the final result, which is fantastic.
