Hi, I have been quoted a 4kwh system using Canadian solar panels. I can see them on the microgeneration site but have never heard of them, I can't find any reviews either, has anyone any experience of these panels?
Thanks
DJ

Yes, they are a good panel, although there are others. But yes, does what it says on the tin.
We use Canadian Solar panels on 90% of our projects and they are very good quality. They are Tier 1 panels (we only install Tier 1), which means they are likely to work more efficiently and reliably than a number of other brands.
They are also widely used in the industry and are trusted manufacturers. Many businesses deal with them and they have an international client base. They give consumers good warranties on their products and I can safely say we rarely experience any problems with them.

Hi,
There are lots of very good panels on the market so the choice is yours! Click the link and you should find the panel spec they have quoted for:

Dear DJ
they are a top 10 manufacturer, according to PV tech, #5 worldwide production in 2011. I know of some large social housing projects that had planned to use them in large quatities before the drop in FiTs. 10 year product warranty I believe as well. Equally important of course is the inverter, and quality mounting gear.
I suggest you look into these as well.

they're alright, but don't be misled by the name, while their head quarters are canadian, their manufacturing plants are all in China.
Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, as there are a lot of high quality chinese panels out there, just that it's not worth paying a premium because of the North American association.
well i have Canadian solar or wowww they are good

hi Gavin you must love forums as much as me ? how many you signed up to ?
Agreed. Most panels are made in China. Companies go under a concession agreement with these manufacturers so the quality standards of these solar panels should be coming from the company themselves.
